Reusing is getting more and more mainstream: it’s good for the pocket and good for the environment. In 2021, about 55 thousand tons of second hand products were reused in Ireland, and clothes are the most popular item being bought second hand. That year 38% of people bought second hand clothes, and the number is increasing (EPA).
Many times kid’s clothes get very little use before they are too small! Be part of the movement by donating or getting some clothes for your little one this year. Drop them at the school Monday- Tuesday 24-25 June, pick them up at the Hall on Friday 28th of June while the community market is on (10 am-2 pm), they will be available at the front room on labelled bins, optional coin donation towards the renovations on the Hall. You don’t need to drop something to collect something!
If you cannot make it to the Hall but would like to get some clothes, text Iliana at 0830686146 and she’ll save some for you.
