Public awareness

Promote climate change awareness

Why it's important

Climate change and biodiversity loss are problems that affects us all. By spreading the word, talking about the issue (no sugar coating involved!) and taking climate action we are hoping to raise awareness within our community and inspire change. We are currently developing this area of work, watch this space for more information in the incoming months!

What is CALL doing about it

So far we have talked about the pressing issues of environmental degradation and climate change during public meetings.

Within other subgroups we have initiated a diverse array of climate actions which will ultimately raise awareness of climate and biodiversity issues.

We would like to promote specific initiatives such as workshops, talks, screenings, and projects in the schools, but so far the work load hasn’t let us.

Within CALL, we would like to further the work of this subgroup. If you would like to join it and develop ideas send us a message!

What can YOU do about it

Talk about it! If you experience climate anxiety, talk about it. If you don’t know much about the subject, talk about it. Getting the conversation going can take us to places and motivate our actions.
