The global economy consumes 100 billion tonnes of materials a year, but we only cycle 8.6% of what we use. We need to do better if we want to save our planet and its resources, and buying less and repairing what we have can help. This directory encourages our community to repair and reuse locally as a method for reducing waste and petrol, while saving money and contributing to the local economy.

The first edition of this Repair Directory is just a spark. We hope that with this initiative we will have more people joining soon.
